Order Processing too long?

I recently purchased a dell alienware 15 r3 on August 4th. I received the confirmation email right after but when I checked the order status today it says it is still processing. It is now the 6th. I would expect it to be processed immediately after my purchase. Why is it taking so long and I am scared that my order will never come as by looking at other forum posts, some people mentioned that there were part shortages for alienware laptops. Could you please get this sorted out ASAP. I live in Canada by the way.

  • Given that August 4 was a Friday -- and it's still a weekend -- don't expect updates until Monday the 7th.

    If it was a customized order, realize that the systems are built in China and shipped to the US, then to you.  So -- it can take a while for custom orders to arrive.

  • If it's a custom order, there's always that possibility -- yes.

  • what do i do if such a problem arises?
