Forums: Laptop not switching on!

My laptop was left on for about 15 minutes yesterday and when I got back to it, it had stopped working. I tried the recommended fixes like trying to remove the static charge but it doesn't seem to work. When I push the power button the power led glows for a few moments and then goes away.

Hello, I've got a Dell Studio 1537 laptop. My problem is that when I switch on the power button, the screen stay black and volume up and down buttons flases and the mute button gets white color. I proved to remove the ram memory, the hard drive and the bios battery, but everything is the same.
