yea, tried that a while back and it got rid of the changing media delay at the begining of audio playback, however i still get periodic choppiness for any and all sound. Although this only happens through the laptop speakers and headphone jack. I connect to my home stereo via usb and the problem disappears..... frustrated.

i would like to retract my previous statement... This driver hasn't totally fixed the problem. I connect my laptop to my stereo via usb and the sound from that is now working fine... But i was using the headphone jack and speakers yesterday and i am still getting the same problem, only to a lesser extent. I don't large periods of choppy audio like before but i get small audio drop outs quite frequently. Hope dell makes a windows vista version for this driver soooon!!!

yea i saw that, seems to be working pretty good with vista though.

no, just typed dell 1500 wireless card driver into google and it was the first one that came up. Just lucky i guess.
