PopCap has a good selection of games suitable for children, although I'm not sure how many have a math angle to them. They do have a number that involve vocabulary skills. They also have a number of games that you can play through your web browser. http://www.popcap.com/

I'll couch this by saying that I was a rabid fan of the first 2 Fallout games (I also fondly recall playing the spiritual inspiration for them, Wasteland, on my old C=64) to the point of actually buying Fallout 2 at a store in Irvine, California so that I could meet some of the developers. I was reluctant to buy FO3 simply because Oblivion, while beautiful, left me feeling a bit hollow. I think I never got a grip on the combat. But Fallout 3 has easily surpassed my expectations and is a worthy

I'm pretty sure that an ATI Radeon x1300 card would run the games in Orange Box, and that is an option for the 530s.
