A monitor purchased from Dell with a computer on/after 12/12/2005 uses the length of the computer warranty (90 days, 1 year, 2 year, etc).

* Turn the PC off * Unplug the power cord from the back of the PC * Lay the PC down on its right side * Remove the case cover * Remove and Reconnect every card, cable, plug, and ram stick (was anything loose?) * Close the case cover * The only devices I want plugged into the PC are the monitor, keyboard, and mouse * Reconnect the PC power cord * Power the PC on. Does it boot up without any bluescreens?

Have you considered buying a replacement cable to test on?
