Dale: Emisoft tells me this was a one time event due to changes Ikarus made to the database format, coupled with server overload. It appears to be true, as both A2 Free and Paid now load quickly and without the full signature database today. Sorry to hear of your troubles getting A2-AM; there is no doubt that even with the smaller signature updates and no server congestion, downloads are faster with the paid version. Seeing the same here Dale. I posted a note in the A2-AM forum, where no one else has seemed to complain (yet). With A2 Free, it's even worse- about 6x slower for the same 50 MB.
