To add to at5147, it indeed always supports x64, but not all (none?) of the processors support VT, so if you're wanting to virtualize anything, you'd have to check your specific processor.

Start stripping the system down till you find that it does stay up. - pull drives - pull any and all expansion cards - reduce memory to just 1 dimm - reduce processor count to just 1 etc.

2 Dell SAS5E cards, assuming your servers have PCIe slots available. If they don't, you'll want to upgrade your servers.

SSDs aren't supported in the 9th generation Dell servers. I think the first models that do support SSDs are the 11th generation (Rx10/Tx10) with a PERC6. So the drive may or may not work 100% as expected (e.g. the status led may not light up).

There should also be a download for Windows and Linux. If you pick the one that matches your OS you can run it from within the OS (and then reboot when prompted).
