    Hi MJC, Let's talk about the desktop that you need to fix: 1. Is it a Dell system? You don't need to have a Dell computer to post here, but we will need to know where to look for instructions to reset your computer back to the factory settings if that is what you want to do. 2. What program was it that alerted you of the "trojan"? Was it your resident anti-virus or did that message just pop up on the screen? <-- If that was the case perhaps it was bogus alert while you were doing

    Hi cjsquared, It appears that you may still have some malware in there. You mentioned that you think you got rid of it. What procedure did you use to do that? I am reviewing your log. In the meantime, you can help me by addressing the following: * Have you have posted this issue on another forum? If so, please provide a link to the topic. * If you have disabled System Restore in an attempt to begin cleaning malware, please enable it now. We will flush System Restore when we are finished cleaning

    Please visit this webpage for download links, and instructions for running ComboFix: http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/combofix/how-to-use-combofix * Ensure you have disabled all anti virus and anti malware programs so they do not interfere with the running of ComboFix. If you are still using ZoneAlarm Spy Blocker don't forget to disable that as well. Double click on ComboFix.exe & follow the prompts.
