    I am pleased to say that I received the Dell 2209WA yesterday. Dell has not let me down and I will continue to support their excellent products. It's unfortunate that one Dell customer service rep that emailed me recommended that I cancel the order. Fortunately, I didn't and I now have an excellent monitor. I thought that a 22 inch monitor would be wide enough so that I wouldn't need a dual monitor setup. That isn't the case, however .... and so I now have the new monitor running

    I have just rcd the 2209WA that I ordered from Dell earlier this month. I thought that I would never see it but Dell proved me wrong. This is fortunate as I have always shopped Dell and will now continue to do so. I am glad that I did not take the advice of the first customer rep I spoke to who advised me to cancel the order as this unit, according to him, was 'end of life'.

    It would seem to me that if I place an order for, in this case, a 2209WA, and Dell cannot deliver, then they should be informing me. How long would they expect a customer to wait before they finally realize that Dell has no intention of shipping that product????

    I enjoyed the video ... very informative and well presented. I'll have to check out Costco ... but don't you need some kind of membership? Once again, I thank you for your interest in my situation. I have been thinking that since I ordered a monitor in good faith from Dell ... it seems to me they must have some kind of legal obligation to follow thru on the deal. We'll see. Have yerself a good day!

    I went ahead and ordered the 2209WA one week ago. I find since then that it has completely disappeared from the web site and the shipping date i have been given is in September. I emailed customer service and was told that this monitor is 'end of line' and recommended that I cancel the order since it would never be sent. Other than this response to my email, I have heard nothing from Dell about the order. This is very disappointing ... i have always been a big supporter of Dell products.

    I emailed Dell re 2209WA order. Response was as follows (partial): "I see that the product that you have ordered is end of life and it will never ship out. Hence, I request you to cancel this order " Go figger????
