down grade the bios to a02, this cured the problem in my studio 1757, all is working well now

my studio 17 does the same, i tend to close the lid while it shuts down, but you need to keep it open till it goes off completely

i bought this great laptop from tesco on friday for £429, i am inpressed with it but, the eject soft key wouldnt work neither would the fn-f10, after looking and researching this, its a highly common problem with the current bios versions, min was A04, tried upgrading to A05 with out success, so i down graded the bios to A02, now all is good, (C'MON DELL, THIS IS A MAJOR PROBLEM WITH THESE GREAT LAPTOPS, SORT IT OUT NOW, ONLY TAKE YOU A DAY TO DO IT) YOU CAN DOWN LOAD THE A02 BIOS FROM

i have this laptop, while i was upgrading this laptops hdd to a 250 gb, i saw that there was a hdd 2 bay, what do i need to install an extra hdd, the connection seems to be blank, its like a brown post that sticks out of the mobo, i cant actually see any connectors, so how do i do it also there are two spaces for mini pci cards near where the wifi card is, but whats the other for, one says WPAN, other says WWAN, what are they
