  • Re: Studio XPS 435MT - problem with fan

Hi Chris, I sent the info to you via the send message button when after clicking on your name. I haven't tried replacing the fans so I hope you can help figure out what the problem is. Thanks!

Looking to replace the fan as well. Please let me know how it works out. Should I go with the Xilence or this Nexus one?

Thanks for the information on upgrading the psu and fan. I may consider it if I'm unable to get this resolved with Dell support. Do you know if there is a heat / fan speed monitoring software that comes with the pc? It's software that usually comes with the motherboard (that's if I put one together myself).

  • Studio XPS 435MT - problem with fan

I got 2 Studio XPS 435MT and on one of them, every minute the fan starts spinning at max rpm for a few secs. It sounds like a vacuum cleaner being turned on and it's loud as heck and extremely annoying!! My other pc doesn't have this problem. I checked the bios version on both and configurations are identical for both my pc's. What's going on with this one??
