I've had the same problem and it was solved by doing the following... Rt click on desktop - Lt click on properties - Rt click screensaver tab - at the bottom of that tab there is a power settings button, Rt click it - Rt click the advanced tab - Make sure that the box is checked next to "Always show icon on the taskbar" - as long as there is a check mark you should be good.... If it is already checked, Uncheck it and apply then recheck it then apply and you're good to go...HOPE
