Right, I couldn't remember which one it was, except for it was the original one, so I've deleted all avermedia software and drivers and reinstalled the one on my recovery disk I got with the computer. I tried going through setup just telling it I did have a set top box, I can get through to the end but for some reason it assigned 1-999 to the one channel, and the option to scan for stations is gone. The set top box part seems to be all about the remote control rather than anything else, I

Hi I've been trying to set up Windows Media Centre to play digital TV using the AVerMedia HC82 Express-card Hybrid Analog/DVB-T. During setup, however, WMC asks you to "Prepare for Set-top Box Setup", and I am unable to continue the setup without a set top box (which I don't have). The way I am trying to setup is Antenna/Digital Terrestrial (DVB-T), I've noticed that by selecting cable it actually asks if you have a set top box, as far as I can tell it should also do this for

Sorry, I should've clarified, that is what I do do, but I can't get what I want. I'll list the screens I get: Following your instruction, I then get: Set Up Your TV Signal> Confirm Your Region (Australia) > Download TV Setup Options > Select Your TV Signal (antenna) > Select Your TV Signal Type (Digital Terrestrial DVB-T) > Prepare for Set-Top Box Setup Searching the net I've seen that other people get a "Would you like WMC to automatically do this" or something

Yeah, I tried doing it that way and it does manage to set itself up working, but only with analog channels, still can't digital channels, and it doesn't ask me to choose between the two at any point.
