Just a guess on my part, but could be something like your outlet PC was originally intended to be sold as new to the Netherlands, but Dell hasn't updated the Win7 upgrade site to reflect that it's now registered in the UK. Or it's just a plain old bug. Probably the only way to straighten that out is to contact Dell Customer Service directly. http://support.dell.com/support/topics/global.aspx/support/dellcare/contact_us_all?c=us&l=en&s=gen

Petron: Try double-clicking on the border of the Task Manager box. This switches it back and forth between regular and "tiny footprint" mode.

Not sure why you're asking here on a Dell forum, other than just because Dell sells it. But out of curiosity did a bit of looking around. This thread from Nokia's discussion groups about where the phones are made is pretty interesting: http://discussions.europe.nokia.com/discussions/board/message?board.id=phones&thread.id=47361 In any case, it's probably a moot point. For example, my PC says "assembled in US", but most of the components in it (motherboard, memory, drives

No idea if it's the site itself or just a problem with your particular picture - and I know next to nothing about photo editing anyway. Only suggestion I have is to make sure it's a .jpg file, and check the size - might be having trouble if it's too large (e.g, a full-size high resolution photo) or is too far off "square" to resize easily. And make sure you select "update" before save. Some other members report that occasionally their avatars just "disappear"

Well, there isn't one - at least not directly. One way is to reply again to a thread, then make sure the "email me replies to this post" right above the POST button is NOT checked. Or, there's a more complicated method, described here: http://en.community.dell.com/forums/p/19299506/19570573.aspx#19570573 And yes, it's a long-standing problem that everyone has complained about for over a year, and all we can do is hope it will be corrected with the next version of this forum

I think someone once made a tutorial on setting up profile options, but I haven't found it yet.... Anyways - to change how your profile is set up, find "Expand User Profile" on your gray profile bar near the top, then select "Edit Profile" on the left. In the first tab, "Profile Options", you can upload an avatar, add a biography, put in your location (Greater Chicago), put in a public email address, etc.. The email Dell uses to notify you of replies and messages
