I have a 530s that's about a year and a half old, haven't had any problems like this until today. I rebooted the system this morning and since then it's been doing the following sequence: I power on the computer, and then: --power light is very briefly amber, then turns blue, then very briefly amber again, computer turns off by itself --computer turns back on by itself, power light very briefly amber, power light then turns blue, then very briefly amber, system again turns off by itself

I have a Seagte 302GB drive that came with the system, an add-on Seagate 640GB drive, and a DVD burner that came with the system. I've left the boot drive connected to SATA 0. I can connect either of the other two drives, using either SATA cable, to SATA 1 and they work fine. I can't connect either drive to SATA 4 or 5--the drives never show up in Windows. When I check the BIOS, there's either nothing listed as being connected to those ports, or just a bunch of garbage text. I've

I have some questions about this model and am hoping someone here knows the answers. I've chatted with Dell sales but have gotten either conflicting or no answers. First, could I add a 2nd hard drive myself without a 2nd drive being installed at the factory 1st? In other words is there a 2nd port in there if you don't get a 2nd hard drive from dell? Second, does anyone know the max resolutions of the HDMI and VGA ports, if they be used simultaneously, and if so if can they output different resolutions

I recently got a 530s for using in my living room as an HTPC. Its power and hard drive lights are both blue LEDs, and they are extremely bright when the room is darkened for TV or movie watching. If the room is otherwise darkened completely, I can almost read a newspaper from 10-feet away. They cast shadows! This same thing happened with a computer speaker set I got maybe 5 years ago. I fixed that by blacking out a piece of tape with a sharpie and covering the LED. I've done the same thing with the
