Announcing IdeaStorm Rockstars!

Congratulations to our newly designated Dell IdeaStorm Rockstars! This
group of dedicated individuals provides amazing, insightful innovative ideas that influence and direct Dell’s products, services and operations. This results in ideation and creative direction that not only saves Dell considerably in resources but also results in much greater customer satisfaction.

The first group of Dell Community Rockstars consists of:

  • Over 20 dedicated creative innovators
  • Representing more than 5 countries
  • Many of whom have participated since the inception of IdeaStorm in 2007

This new program will empower these individuals to facilitate the community and provide leadership in the community.

  • Contributed  over 16,000 ideas
  • Promoted ideas over 700,000 times
  • Posted over 90,000 comments

Since the inception of IdeaStorm, Dell has implemented 480 ideas. We anticipate that this new program will take IdeaStorm to the next level by empowering them to provide thought leadership and grow the community.

Dell Community Rockstars

The Dell Community Rockstar program recognizes independent experts and enthusiasts for their community contributions in solving technical issues, ideation and helping customers learn about and get the most from Dell products and services.

These key people play a critical role by sharing their knowledge and enthusiasm for Dell with the community, as well as representing the voice of the customer back inside Dell.

The goal of the Dell Community Rockstar program is to thank this invaluable group of people and empower them to better assist their peers and support the Dell community.

What Does it mean to be a Dell Community Rockstar?

Recognized Community Rockstars will receive a badge along with a number of exclusive privileges and benefits including online & offline events.

Dell’s Community Rockstars represent:

  • over 50 dedicated individuals sharing their technical expertise
  • more than six countries
  • participation in the Dell Community Forums since 2000 and/or IdeaStorm since 2007 in some cases

How Do I Become a Dell Community Rockstar?

Potential Dell Community Rockstars are nominated by other community members, current and former Rockstars, Dell staff and key Dell partners (like Microsoft).  The nominations will be reviewed by the Dell Community and Support teams and awarded based on criterion including: participation, expertise and community leadership.
