I have used many manner of switches and routers, but by far the least enjoyable are the IBM blade networking interconnects. Those guys are based on the old Nortel OS, or Alteon, and they just suck. I am really hoping that Force10 can provide a welcome respite from nightmarish implementations involving support calls to clueless IBMers. At least I am guaranteed that much.
Until the poweredge 2650 fiasco of 2002-3 I was a loyal Dell guy. After that I switched to HP for the next 9 years, then gave IBM a chance. Finally back to Dell I came, and the DSC treated me very well indeed. At this time I am trying as hard as I can to get up to speed with the M1000e and IOMs.
