Since I never created any restore points from before. If I create one right now, will it stay at it's current settings, or change it back to normal/the way it was before.

Thanks very much for your help on-line. I've ordered the discs from Dell. Also, I noticed that you live in Inverness. I'm there at least once a year, because my Mom lives on Palm Ave [H]

Cheers, Sid

I'm still learning

Didn't know how to do friends so thanks for connection. I will try tomorrow to reconnect the IR device. I have bad luck when moving my tower around alot & don't like to do it. My system is 6mo old and I started out wanting a wireless system but because of things they (Dell) left out of my specs, all of my USB ports in the back are used which means lot of wires. Not as clean as I wanted and have twist ties on some to shorten. I will do the safe disconnect first as you suggested.

I think it is Chariton, Iowa where Hy-Vee home office is, went there once back in 1981 to visit friend who worked there. I grew up in Des Moines and gratuated from Iowa State. Been in KC since 1987 and lived in the northland most of time. Like it, so I stayed up here. Still great for getting around although the bus routes are now all over here, so a lot more people and street traffic.

I am on a disability retirement but wanting to go back to work soon as I finish my last 2 license exams in Architecture. Had heart surgery and some autoimmune problems. Looking to work for government which is the only places out there that still have pensions. So, you lived here for how long?
