Sam Burd is vice president and general manager of Dell’s PC product group. In this role he is responsible for defining and delivering differentiated notebook and desktop products across the company’s OptiPlex, Latitude, Precision Workstation, Alienware, XPS, Vostro, and Inspiron lines of business.
Since joining Dell in 1999, Sam has held a number of leadership positions, including vice president of Global Product Operations, vice president of Asia-Pacific & Japan Marketing, and general manager of Dell’s Networking Business.
Prior to Dell, Sam worked at Bain & Company for eight years. Sam earned a bachelor’s degree in economics from Dartmouth College and an MBA from Harvard Business School.
