Sam Burd is executive vice president of Dell’s Client Product Group. In this role, he is responsible for the success of Dell’s commercial and consumer client portfolio including notebooks, desktops, workstations, tablets and software. He and his team are focused on defining and developing differentiated products that deliver high value to customers.
Since joining Dell in 1999, Sam has held a number of executive leadership positions including marketing and sales roles in Dell’s Americas, Europe, Middle East & Africa and Asia-Pacific & Japan businesses and leading Dell’s Networking business and SMB product group.
Prior to Dell, Sam worked as a manager at Bain & Company for eight years. Sam earned a bachelor’s degree in economics from Dartmouth College and an MBA from Harvard Business School.
