He had a few minor issues at birth- low blood sugar, slight respiratory difficulty when exhaling- but he&#39;s just over 2 weeks old and at home and healthy now. We named him Benjamin Richard.</p> <p>He was 9 lbs, 14.2 oz, and 21.5&quot;.&nbsp; After losing some initial expected birth weight, he&#39;s now up to 10 lbs. He&#39;s a contented baby who doesn&#39;t give his parents any trouble except for his late night waking habits. He likes to eat really slowly.&nbsp;He sleeps all day and parties all night. We are scheduled to check into to the hospital Sunday night. Our doctor wants to induce Monday morning. </p> <p>Whether the baby is aware of the doctor&#39;s timeline is yet to be determined. Mama looks like she&#39;s ready to burst and gets pretty tired when she&#39;s not at rest. We have an appointment with the doctor this afternoon. We&#39;ll know more then.</p>
