Revolutionizing

Here you will find an interactive demonstration on the Stoneware software.  Once the interactive environment loads, you can experience what your desktop would look and feel like on a Dell Inspiron Mini with a Linux Ubuntu OS.

(this demo will commonly require a security scan or check and will not harm your computer, nor does it require any installation other than an ActiveX Control which is a free download required by WindowsTM  by several other websites)

Using...Common Sense

Facebook. Club Penguin. i-Tunes. Wii. While parents do their best to keep up with the changing media landscape, it's nearly impossible to sift through all that's out there.  From movie reviews on the newest tween release to questions about whether or not Facebook is safe, Common Sense Media has the answers. Common Sense is a leading non-partisan, non-profit organization that helps families and educators teach kids how to thrive in today's media driven world.   Go to www.commonsensemedia.org to find the latest reviews and recommendations on age appropriate movies, websites, video games and more for kids.

Educators can visit our new Common Sense Schools program at www.commonsensemedia.org/schools.  This free online program targets media-related issues, like social networking and cyberbullying, that matter most to parents and teachers. The program provides everything schools need to partner with parents to teach kids how to be safe and smart in today's 24/7 media world. Register now at www.commonsensemedia.org/schools and get immediate and free access to the entire program, including videos, downloadable tip sheets, and discussion materials.
