  • HAL.DLL how do i re-install

    this message came up, when i switched my laptop (vostro 1700) on, system 32 hal.dll missing or corrupt please reinstall. however i have no idea why it may have done, this because i have not downloaded anything/installed anything either. the only thing i have done is update internet explorer. anyway....
