    I have experienced similar issue on my new Studio 1537. In chatting with Dell Tech Support, they suggested upgraded to latest BIOS which is A08 which has not solved the issue for me. I suspect over-heating issue but fan diag passes OK and unit does not appear to be running hot even when placed on a stand...

    I too am having serious heating problems. It is constantly overheating and shutting off, no warnings, just completely off. Dell has upgraded the BIOS to the latest (A12) on four seperate occasions. While I understand that upgrading it could help, doing it four times with the same update seems a bit ridiculous...

  • BSOD on shutdown

    Fresh from the box, my 1735 would restart with no problem. I installed MS Office, Firefox, ran Windows updates, now every time I try to shut down or restart it BSODs on me. Seems to happen just as the computer starts the shutdown sequence. Will work if I have booted in Safe Mode - restarts like new....
