Hi everyone, I've done some homework on this already; this topic has been beaten in multiple threads, but please bear with me here. So I've got a Dell XPS410 that has aged nicely (circa September 2006), but I'm looking to squeeze out some additional performance before I have to build a new...

  • Re: Upgrading Dimension E520 CPU - BIOS release notes

I also found the same Japanese site with some guy using a Q6700 on a Dell Dimension E520. He even posted pics of his benchmarks: http://xps-700.com/dell/img/12111702240060.jpg http://xps-700.com/dell/img/12111702240061.jpg I'm pretty sure that if the Q6600 works, the Q6700 should work, too. Both...

But the video card fan was running and the cd drive was active. So I power the computer off, and I'm left with all the same problems. Anytime I...
