When I pluged my monitor with a DVI cable the screen flicker briefly, but then it went blank and now won't show anything. There is a display available during boot-up process. The problem start when Windows is loaded. The monitor works fine when I use the analog input with the DVI / VGA cable.

I have the same problem with a 2208WFP. Way too bright and washed out looking. The controls really do not make the display any better with brightness and contrast settings. Connected via DVI to Dell XPS with NVIDIA GeForce 7900GS that was great with the 2007EFP.. This is FAR inferior to my 3 year old...

If I close the screen on my Dell Inspiron E1705 laptop and then reopen it later and not much later. I can't get the screen to come alive again it just stays black. I have changed the power options to always on and still the same thing. I have no clue?

My monitor/display has become loose--have resistant pushing back but pulling forward it gives a couple inches (estimation). No other issues with it besides that. Is there a way for me to tighten screws or hinges myself? Or is this something a techie has to do?? Thanks!
