If I close the screen on my Dell Inspiron E1705 laptop and then reopen it later and not much later. I can't get the screen to come alive again it just stays black. I have changed the power options to always on and still the same thing. I have no clue?

My monitor/display has become loose--have resistant pushing back but pulling forward it gives a couple inches (estimation). No other issues with it besides that. Is there a way for me to tighten screws or hinges myself? Or is this something a techie has to do?? Thanks!
