  • Monitor won't turn on

    Starting about one month ago, my monitor has not turned on. The computer will, but the monitor will stay blank. When I turn the monitor off and then on, it shows, "USB Power Saving Mode". I don't remember putting it into power saving mode, but I think that's what's stopping it from...

    Why should we have to pay another $400.00 or so and do a self replace for something that we paid more money for than the average laptop and hope that it doesn’t happen again in another 2 years.     I just got off the phone with dell service and was told I can send my 1705 in to be repaired for a min of $199.00 to a max of $498.00, guaranties it would be fixed and that this would be guaranteed for 3 months. Soooo.. I guess this expensive laptop just got more expensive!! I don’t see any choice...

    My Mother took her desk top to staples to have it cleaned because of a virus...BUT they wiped out the entire hard drive. I have all the disks it came with.
