  • Reinstalling Vista 64-bit

    I'm trying to reinstall Vista on my XPS M1530 again after I had some problems with it and can no longer boot into it. So I was wondering what is the correct sequence for installing all the drivers? thanks

  • Media Direct contains outdated power point viewer

    Monitering software shows outdated powerpoint viewer 1.5 within Media Direct. I've run the update feature and now have Media Direct 3 but still show PP viewer 1.5 although I have Office 2007. How do I update the viewer in Media Direct?

    I'm getting the exact same message while attempting a reinstall on my Inspiron 6000. My HD crashed and I'm installing a new bigger HD. Did you get any resolution to this through Dell? How did you solve it or work around? Thanks! Lisa

    How do I update the codecs for Media Direct ? Most of my videos won't work. Media Direct version is 3.5.4120 but NO updates found through updater. (edit) Inspiron 1525 laptop

    Thank You Gary09 !!! That worked perfectly! I had to rename process explorer to "taskman", instead of "taskmgr" but it was easy enough to figure out.
