My Inspiron is about 4 yrs old. The display has been losing brightness progressively over the past year. I can use the Fn down arrow to decrease brigthness; Fn up arrow will bring the brightness back up, but the maximum brightness is still quite dark. No other screen artifacts - e.g. no horizontal lines...

My Dell Inspiron 1525 is having problems all of a sudden. The screen acts as if it was dropped or something, which hasnt happened ever.
