I just installed Windows 7 on my M1530, and everything works flawlessly...EXCEPT bluetooth. I downloaded the drivers from the dell website (for vista 32bit), but when I try to install it says "Press Fn+F2 or turn on the wireless switch". The wireless switch is already on, and I press Fn+F2...

Thanks for the tips. I finally found Sigmatel and Alps drivers (at third party sites, not the home companies)... the Sigmatel worked fine; the Alps had problems. Will have to try some others. Could not locate an X300 mobile driver, but then got lucky. I opened Windows Update to get the latest Win7 updates...

Currently have Vista x86 SP2 Home premium. With the release of Windows 7 in October, how is Dell going to handle their various printer drivers(and other devices) like my 946 AIO that is only 11/2 years old so that they work with 7? The MS upgrade window 7 tool says that my printer may not be compatible...

Does Dell have any Desktops that are certified for Windows 7? It's time to buy a desktop, and I'm positive I'll want Windows 7 installed soon after it's released. I don't want to find that a clock doesn't keep time, or a display driver is incompatible, or Dell Support saying "Sorry...

I Just moved from Vista 32 bit to Win 7 RC Build 7100 using a USB connection and now my trusty old 3000cn no longer will print. I downloaded the latest drivers under vista 32 bit and used these for Win 7 . But when I tried to print--- nothing prints and the yellow light on the 3000cn control panel turns...

I can also vouch for the R146813 drivers working in Windows 7 RC. It did not work initially with the default Windows 7 drivers and when i tried to update the drivers from the device manager with the R146813 drivers it said they were up to date and would not be installed. Then I tried running the setup...

First of all, Phenom I really appreciate your detailed answers. Hmm...I didnt order Vista Ultimate lol because I thought my previous OEM would work. I have 2 OEM of vista, one is 32-bit from xps 420 and the other is 64-bit from 435MT. So what you are suggesting that neither would work with the 730x?...
Would I be able to install 32bit (OEM from previous dell xps 420) without issues on this system since originally 64bit is installed .
No. The product key is embedded in the BIOS. Therefore, you need to request an x86 OS disc from Dell for the 730x. They will...
