I, too, am trying to get Picasa for Linux installed on a Mini 9, with the same error: "Wrong architecture". Any help would be appreciated. Thanks for the answer above jdeslip, but I've tried all the Linux version, and they all say wrong architecture. Must be something with the Atom processor...

I deleted the Dell Media center thing for watching DVDs to make room to partition Ubuntu(extended). Tried to install XP - that didnt work! something to do with ATA and SATA, neway lets forget about it. XP deleted Vista and I want to use the Recovery partition to restore things . None of the F8 or F11...

From what I can see, both here and atwww.mydellmini.com, they keep changing the location. I just (28 Nov 2008, 8:21 CST) FTP'd in and found it at ftp.dell.com/OS/Inspiron_910_Ubuntu_A00.img - but dont expect that link to last very long. MrElPresidente

Just to follow up on this, I finally figured out how to get the card reader working. It turns out the device appears as a SCSI device with multiple LUNs, but the kernel doesn't probe all the LUNs by default (if you compile your own kernel.) You need to enable "Probe all LUNs on each SCSI device"...
