Dual Monitors on 8300 w/ nVidia FX5200

Before I purchase the PC, I was hoping to get some detailed info about setting up an Extended Desktop environment using 2 Flat Panel monitors.

System: Inspiron 8300,   Video: nVidia FX 5200,   Monitors: 1703FP Ultrasharp

1. If I use the dual monitor option of the FX 5200, do I need the DVI-VGA adapter or do I use the DVI-out to the DVI-in on one display and the VGA-out to the VGA-in on the other display?

2. If I use the dual monitor option of the FX 5200, will my combined desktop size be 2560x1024 or does the card split it's max resolution between the 2 displays?

3. Can the FX 5200 rotate both displays (side by side) for a combined resolution of 2048x1280?

4. Is it better to buy a second (PCI obviously) graphics card with  a DVI out and set up the Extended Desktop that way? I assume Windows XP provides the capability to use 2 video cards.

Thanks,

Rick

Did you end up getting two displays to work?  I have the same basic setup and trying to get dual monitors to work.  Can only get the original monitor to work on the VGA adapter.  Never on the DVI.
