File download when clicking on "Walmart.com" link

I  done a fresh installed of Winxp Media Center on my Dell Desktop. Now when I type in "walmart.com" in the address bar or click on the link on a search page it brings up a file download window. Could this be because in the past I have downloaded music from the Walmart site? Is it wanting me to reinstall the Walmart music downloader program?

Or could this be a virus type file tring to get me to install it? I am using McAfee Security Center.

I found the problem. It was the file extension .do . IE 8 could not open it.

  1. Navigate to another page on the walmart web site other than the home page.
  2. Click on the "Page" menu in IE8.
  3. Click on "Compatibility View Settings"
  4. Add walmart.com to the list.

This fixed the issue for me.
