I have a Dell Inspiron 1505 E6400 that came with a 6 cell battery. The battery is dead and I want to replace it with a 9 cell. Will there be a compatibility problem. Anyone knows about this issue? Thanks for helping
You can get either one, but be prepared to pay $156 for it. You might consider using your laptop with just the adapter until you can replace the whole computer with a new $500 one. See if this is the right battery: here.
Thanks Mary G. Your response was helpful. I have a Dell-On -Call contract for a year. I tried to ask their support person the same question. I was told I had a software contract and did not have a hardware contract, so I got nothing from them. Thanks again.
