Sorry for my dumb question:
But
The product key for Windows Vista which came with my new PC is clearly visible as a sticker on the machine.
But where do I find the product key for my pre-loaded microsoft office?
Thanks for any help
Andrew
The COA sticker with the product code should be on the packaging for the reinstallation CD/DVD.
Dimension 2400, 2.2 GHz, 640 MB, eVGA nVidia FX5200 128 MB
Inspiron 5160, 2.8 GHz, 512 MB, FX5200 Go 64 MB
All Dell computers come with a trial version of Office. If you didn't special order Office and pay a hefty fee, you will not have a disk for Office and will not have an activation key. The trial version has to be activated online to use it and it will expire after 30 days or so.
Thanks Jack
I looked again at the reinstallation discs which I thought were just Dell ones and found a microsoft office one in there too with its product key
Whoopee!
You're very welcome. Best of luck to you!
