Vista sp2

I have a xps420 ,the hard drive crashed and i had to install a new one from Dell under warranty

I noticed that is has sp1 on it ,is it advisable to download sp2,it seems to run ok.

Thank you for using the Dell Community Forum.

There are people who have had errors with sp2. You can sure download and install it on your system.

Hi Robert, If you intend to upgrade to windows 7, then you wont need sp2 for vista.

Thank you both for the advice, I guess if it's not broke don't fix it,Yes I intend to

upgrade to windows 7
