DELL 410 Doesn't Start

Ok my last post was deleted. It was too honest I guess... lets try this... My XPS 410 wont start. I have the green power light and the 2 and 4 lit up. Dell says its the graphics card. It isnt as I put it in my XPS 420 worked fine. So this leads me to the power supply or mother board. Any suggestions?

You will get a message as to why your post was deleted. My guess would be character substitution.

What other indications do you get? Are the fans spinning?

remove all the ram and cards from the system and power on note the indications. IF button is green and the fans spin most likely it is a mother board issue.

Re: DELL 410 Doesn't Start

Thanks for the follow up. I took out the memory and graphics card. The power light came on green and so did light 1 (no memory).  So does this tell me its a motherboard issue? and if so where do I accuire one at a cost not close to the cost of a new PC? thanks
