xps 630 front headphone socket not gripping headphone plug

Hi i have a question   ---

Does anyone know how to get to the front headphone socket on an XPS 630 ?

My headphone socket is getting a very loose grip on my headphone plug , proberbly due to general wear and tear .

This is causing my sound to be of less quality than it should be .

I need to get to the inner part of the headphone socket to squeeze it back to shape so it can make full contact with the plug and the sound will improve .

I know squeezing works because i've done it on other headphone sockets on other devices before , radios , steros , walkmens ect . . .  , when their sockets got loose .

Also is anyone else bothered by this problem in most headphone sockets on most devices ?

Isn't it about time the standard headphone socket was redesigned to be abit more durable in this day and age ?

Especially when your paying alot of money for a pc with headphones only to find the socket wears out after six months .

Im dependant on my headphones because i live in a block of flats where speakers would upset elderly nieghbours , especially late at night when only us obsessive computer geeks are up finishing off that last game level , know what i mean .

Your help and disscussion is invited .

Thanks .
