I Tunes

I run vista home premier 32-bit, and when I installed apple I Tunes my dvd-cd-rom would not start.

I un-installed the drivers then re-installed the drivers, but it still would not start.

So I went back to a restore point prior to the I Tune install, and now my dvd-cd-rom works fine.

I would like to re-install I Tunes, so is there a fix to my problem.

I have exactly the same problem on my inspiron 1525. If i tunes is downloaded the dvd/cd drive wont work. If i go into the device management area and click on the dvd device it comes up with a code 10 error device wont start. I have spoken to friends at work about this and they seem to thing it will ned resolving in the regedit and that some filters associated with i tunes and the laptop will be conflicting and need changing or deleting. I am still scouring the internet to try to fix this.

My warranty has expired and Dell's support centre have said it is a software issue which they want £60 to be paid before they will give software support.

I currently cannot find any help on any apple sites.

I know this wont fix the problem but i wonder how many other people have the same problem????
