Why did you cancel my order without notification?

The shipper, CEVA, says that Dell cancelled the order.

Dell Customer Service gave me a contact who says that they don't have any knowledge of the order or it's situation. They see that Dell cancelled it, but they don't see why.

Dell order status screen still shows Shipped.

I'm not going to call customer service again, as I don't want to get the run around. I need someone that can tell me why my television and DVD have not been delivered.

 

Hey Dell, you can track my name, phone number and email via this member ID....I need a call....You've already been paid for the TV....it's time you made this right.

For anyone else that might have this issue come up, the Credit and Collections department did a verification of the address for the credit card used. The mailing address and the shipping address did not match, so they cancelled the order.

 

They say that they attempted to contact us, but we never got the call on the cellular. They say that they left a message, yet no message was ever received. They called me at least 5 times today and I never missed the call ??

 

So, if you are placing an order and the shipping and mailing address for the credit card are different, be sure to let them know or you may end up in the twilight zone wondering what happened.

This is common with credit card purchases, especially with large dollar amounts. I am a bit surprised that they did not state this at order time.  I have always had to authorize my credit card as I bill to my home address and ship to my wifes work address.

If you place your order on line there was proably something in the fine print that is very easily overlooked. They still should have notified you though.

how the hell can we know that when purchasing?

My mother in law bought me this laptop two days ago!!she payed from her VISA and they had BEEN PAYED!!

Did they have Canceled my order due that Her credit card has the address of Ottawa and my Shipping address is Toronto!!

How the hell can i Fix THIS?!!!
