Dimension 4700 Power Supply Fan Noise

I have a y2682 power supply (Dimension 4700) fan that is noisey. I know it can be replaced, but I need a Part# or Fan Size to order one.

Anyone have this info?

I wouldreally  not recommend you open the powersuppy to replace the fan. You will not be able to find th pn as that would be a Dell secret as again powersupplies are not really considered user repairable.

I believe it's a 80mmX80mmX25mm fan with 2 wires.

THIS may help you replace the power supply fan, but personally I don't think it's worth the aggro, because most standard generic stock ATX, PSU's, with or without the on/off switch, two SATA power connectors and either a 24-pin or 20+4-pin main motherboard connector, can be installed. 

The replacement can be purchased from most local or online computer stores.

The psu in my 4700 has this, Model: DSBOB12H - 0.21 amps, as stated above 80x80x25 mm

3 pin to 2 pin adapter  self explanatory

2nd att.
