Running AVI files

I am recording small videos in AVI format onto an SD card. What program do I need on my Axim x50 to play these? I've got Windows Media player installed, or so my program files say, but it won't even acknowledge that there are any files on the SD card.

Re: Running AVI files

There are media players that you can get / buy to install onto the device that should allow you to read .AVI files.
Otherwise, converting to .WMP seems to solve most issues.

Re: Running AVI files

Thanks Jordanchris, but did you mean .WMV rather than .WMP ?

Re: Running AVI files

Yup!
WMP is the Windows Media Player that can understand .WMA (audio) and .WMV (video) files.
