Audigy HD Audio Reinstall

Hi, i've recently reinstalled windows and i cannot get my sound to work. I install the creative software from the disc and i get an error saying 'no supported devices found.'

I have the Integrated Sound Blaster Audigy ADVANCED HD Audio on a AMD  64X2 2.20 ghz 1gb ram and nvidia chipset

Thanks in advanced

matte53,

Thank you for using the Dell Community Forum.

You installed the software in the system maybe before installing the sound card drivers. Click the title below to download the drivers for your system.

matte53,

Edit your user profile in the forum and include your system service tag number. I can take a look at the components installed in your system.

Re: Audigy HD Audio Reinstall

Ok, i've done that.

I installed vista a couple of weeks ago and sound worked fine, i did a clean reinstall of mce 2005 as i had a few problems with vista and i couldn't get the sound to install in mce 05 and in device manager i had an unknown pci device which wasn't installed, i did a test and reinstalled vista and the sound now works. In device manager it lists my sound controller as a 'High Definition Audio Device'
