I wish I had checked out this forum before buying our most recent dell
I came on for the same reason, to find a phone number for Dell Corp. HQ. I have also bought dells all along, we have two pc's and two laptops. we had always been happy with dell until now, our last computer was a "lemon" we have had endless live chats and phone calls with tech support and been on hold for over an hour many times. tonight I was on hold for 1hr 15 min. when they disconnected me! We have been trying to get the same issues resolved since the day the computer arrived in JANUARY!!! They refuse to help, will not give us the # for corp. HQ and have told us they would call us back or have a manager call us back and then they never do.
Tonight I asked for a manager and they tried to sell me a service plan where I could talk to the same person everytime I have a problem and it is only 13.99 a month, what a bargin. That plus the 1200 we spent on a computer that doesnt work and hasnt since day one!!! They told us right from the start that we couldnt get a new one because we had gone past the 21 day return policy. The only problem is they started counting the day we ordered it so by the time it was built and then shipped we were already 12 days into our 21 days. What great service I love how they stand behind their product. I plan to call our local consumer reporter and the Better Business Bureau but I would love to get a hold of someone in the Corp. office. Based on these postings I'm guessing they dont want to hear from me. Good luck to all of you! :smileymad:
