Had one blow up yesterday, on a battery that was NOT on the 2006 recall list. Inspiron 6000 (we have 8 more just like it. We're pulling and re-checking all remaining ones today. Before you put Dell on the hot seat you should have done alittle research. There have only been 43 reported instances in the last 5 years, out of the millions of laptop's and notebook's sold. It is the battery that's getting hot which are made in China and are shipped to Dell, HP, and other comp companys. Also it has nothing to do with desktop computors.
