Need info on cause / solution for text and information not being displayed on page when typed / or program opened.

Hi,Hmm, I hope someone can help me solve this problem. When I type into a page the cursor moves across the page, but the text doesn't appear, although them info is on the page. When I open a document or program with text, the text doesn't appear on the page, but is there. It just looks like a blank page. Anybody got an answer as to why? Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Actually, you landed in the Laptop Audio section - the software section would be better.

But an idea to start:  possibly your automatic font color's been changed to white - a white font on a white background won't show up.

For XP:    Right click anywhere on the desktop, select properties, Appearance tab, Advanced button.  Under the Item pulldown menu, select Window.    The font itself can't be changed, but make sure the color box is set to black, not white.

Don't have Vista to look for the same setting directly, but should be similar (under Personalize).
