Help with using Windows 7

I have been using XP machines without any problem.  I today got Dell XP 8000 with Windows 7.   The use of Win7 is confusing.   My quesiton is:

a) What folder replaced "My Documents" in XP machine.

b) What replaced Disk Management (which allows to change drive letter).

c) How to readjust power management?   The monitor prompted "power saving mode" and screen disappeared.   How can I readjuist poser managment?

Thanks.    Hummer

Re: Help with using Windows 7

You can type any of these into the Start box and windows will instantly find it.

1. Windows has dropped the MY from everything. Just type Documents. Look up Libraries in Help for a new disk organization scheme. Click on the folder on the Task Bar to get to Libraries, which contains shortcuts to everything on your computer. You can add to or change those there.

2. Disk Management is still under Administrative Tools--you can add that to the Start Menu by Customizing it. Just type Computer Management in the Start box.

3. Type Power Options and you will find where you can change power settings. Use the Change advanced settings link there in your power scheme.

Since I have using flash drive + TrueCrypt. routinely, I  am forced to use Disk Managment frequently (to change drive letter).

In XP,  (My computer>Right Click >Manage>Disk Management) allows me to qccess to Disk Managment quickly.

Is there similar short cuts for in Windows 7?

Thanks.    Hummer
