2408WFP at 1280x800, not full screen?

Hooked through DVI on an ATI x1900XT, I can't get the monitor to display full screen (meaning that the entire display surface is used) when using 16:10 resolutions other than 1920x1200. If this matters, I'm running Windows 7 with the latest ATI drivers.

For example, at 1280x800, regardless of the wide mode I'm using (1:1, aspect or fill), I cannot get the monitor to use the full height of the display surface. At 1:1 or aspect, I won't have the full width either and the image will look ridiculously tiny. At fill the image will get distorted so that the full width is used, but it is only using a bit more than half of the height.

Is 1920x1200 the only 16:10 resolution this monitor can display in full size?

Anyone?

I noticed the same on an ATI 4850 on my friend's 2408wfp. But in my work's 2408wfp in integrated graphics, it works fine.

How do I fix it?

So two Ati video cards have the issue but the onboard Intel video does not. Sounds like a video card or video card driver issue. Have you asked the guys on the Video Card board?
