HOW TO REPLACE DELL SERVER 2500 POWER

hello

 

I have a dell server 2500 tower edition i have just bought a dell poweredge 2500 power supply 41yfd. The question how do i replace the old one? have i bought the right piece of hardware the 41yfd look to fit in the front panel I need it to fit in the back plane? the back of it look like 4 fans then @ the botton this is where to put the kettle lead

I think you might have the wrong power supply if you can't figure out how to replace it.. The Part number is right, but on all the power supply's that I have seen and worked with on the PE 2500 only have 2 fans in the back.  You should be able to just slap it in without any problems.  Maybe you have the wrong model power supply. The one that I have is model # 7000240-0000 if that helps.
